Emergency Medicine - Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant

The Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant role will be working in the Emergency Medicine specialty, located in HCA Florida Northwest Hospital (JV) - ED Margate, FL.

Envision Physician Services is seeking an Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for night shifts. Candidate should have at least 12 months of current Emergency Room experience as a NP/PA. ­We are excited to welcome you ­to become apart of our prestigious practice at Northwest Medical Center in Margate,­ Florida.

Highlights of this opportunity:

ED consists of 45-55 beds including the Pediatric area Separate Pediatric ER Approx. 63,928 visits to include main ED and Pediatric ED 50 hours of physician coverage 12 hours of Advanced Practice Providers 12 hour shifts 10 am- 10 pm and 2 pm - 2 am Approximately 2.2 patients per hour Admission rate approximately 35% EMR: Meditech and Pdoc 24 hour in house hospitalists 24 hour in house intensivists No floor code or consult responsibilities Interventional cardiac catheterization facility Occurrence Based Malpractice

Qualified candidates must be Board Certified in­ National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants ­(NCCPA) or ­American Association of Nurse Practitioners ­(AANP) or ­American Nurses Credentialing Center ­(ANCC)­ as well as current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) AND Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) will be considered.­
