PRN HeartHealth Advanced Provider II (APRN/PA)

Lee Health Heart Institute is looking for a Physician Assistant (PA) or an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) for our HeartHealth program. Candidates should have experience in Cardiology. This position will be working with Lee Health employees and spouses participating in our HeartHealth Program. The position consists of televisits that include screening/scheduling for Coronary CTAs, result and lab follow-ups, prescribing pre and post medications based off a treatment algorithm, and monitoring for medication refills/reactions. This program is a part of a research study and includes specific data documentation requirements.

Cardiology experience preferred

Schedule will be PRN, various shift/hours a week, occasional weekends if needed

Initially on-site at one of our hospital locations with future possibility of transitioning to remote

Role will be approximately 80% patient care/20% data collection

Candidates must have graduated from an accredited program and able to obtain a Florida license

Initially this position will be primarily on-site and can rotate thru various locations within the Lee Health System. However, once the position is further established, there is an opportunity to transition to a hybrid (on-site/remote) work environment with manager discretion.
