Let’s Feed Lee: Another Volunteer Opportunity !

Let’s Feed Lee! Volunteers are needed to accept incoming donations at all Lee County Publix store on Saturday, September 29, 2018. Six volunteers will be needed for each shift. Shifts are 9 to 11 am, 11 am to 1 pm and 1 to 3 pm.

• Volunteer Duties will include:
  • Two volunteers to hand customers the shopping list at the entrance door (or as they enter the store) and thank them for their support.
  • Two volunteers to accept food from donors (at the exit door or as they leave the store) and thank them for their support.
  • Two volunteers inside the store near the check-out or the food display reminding shoppers of the food drive.

Please remember our volunteer guidelines:

• No open toed shoes.
• This is an all ages event! Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
• This is an outdoor event; please remember to dress accordingly-sunscreen and a brimmed hat for sun and jacket in case of rain.
• Volunteer for this event and receive a FREE limited-edition volunteer t-shirt! Please send Tanya an email at tphillips@harrychapinfoodbank.org with your t-shirt size by Monday September 17 at 3 pm. T-shirts will be at the store the day of the event, please do not ask to pick them up early.
