Holiday Giving

To our NP Members and Friends:

This Christmas season, the SGCNPC has adopted the older adults who are residents at HealthPark Care Center near HealthPark Hospital as our holiday project. There are 50 long-term residents who rarely have visitors or gifts of any kind. We are collecting lap blankets (about 50"X60") for them. The average cost is between  $5-$8 and can be purchased at most stores including SteinMart, KMart, Marshalls, etc.

You are also invited to help us play Santa and deliver the blankets to these residents. We plan to present the gifts to each resident individually.

If you would like to participate, please purchase a blanket and wrap it if you have time. The holiday gift-giving event will take place on: Thursday December 11 at 5:30 at the HealthPark Care Center.

If you can participate in any way, please contact either Mary Lewis at drmarylewis@comcast.net  or respond via this site. We would be glad to pick up the blanket but we would love to have you join in the fun and festivities of giving to these deserving seniors in our community!

We are also still collecting toiletries etc. for the homeless coalition so please feel free to donate!
